Learning a foreign language by living it is one of the most effective ways for young students and adults of all ages to make rapid progress. Participants on Influent language immersion programmes live in their private teacher's home in the country where the language is spoken; lessons and/or activities are tailored to their specific needs and learning objectives; and they share the daily life of a warm and welcoming host and his or her family. They therefore learn the language not only during lessons; they also practice it through daily life with the family, activities, and visits, all the while discovering a new culture, making new friends, and having fun!

Influent's new 'Club 4' immersion programme

Full immersion stays are usually individual, but young teenagers sometimes prefer to have their first immersion experience with other students their age, especially if it is their first trip abroad without their parents. Influent has therefore created a new, fun, mini-group programme for teenagers seeking to improve their English in 2024: Club 4. 

On the Influent Club 4 programme, 4 participants aged 14 to 16 do a two-week English immersion with a family in Sussex, UK or Cork, Ireland. The lessons and activities have been specially designed for this age group, and there are two periods to choose from in each area: June 30th to July 13th and July 14th to 27th, 2024. Participants from any country can enrol, provided that they are between 14 and 16 and are of a B1 or B2 English language level. It's a great opportunity for a young language student to make new friends and achieve language goals through group lessons, interaction, and activities, guided and accompanied by an experienced host teacher.

 The programme includes:

 - 10h lessons + 10h activities per week

 - 5h supervised homework per week

 - 1 Saturday Excursion 

As the group size is fixed and availability is limited, booking early is highly recommended.
